Charles “Chuck” Robert Hultine, 67, of Princeton, IL made his peaceful transition towards his heavenly home on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria. With the love of his life by his side.

Chuck was born on January 14, 1959 in Princeton, Il. The son of Robert Louis and Gladys Beth (Dean) Hultine of Malden, IL where Chuck lived his adolescence graduating with the class of 1977.

Chuck had worked at Champion in Princeton, J & L Steel Plant in Hennepin and then General Business forms in Princeton where he encountered a life altering event in April of 1981. It was amidst this occurrence that he learned what the power of love and faith could carry you through. Later with creative ingenuity he was able to assist in farming with his cousin Mike Duffield and later with Denton Farms, he looked forward to each sunrise he could spend in the tractor overlooking the fields.

Chuck married his sweetheart of 6 years, Lori Hove on Sept 8th, 1984. The Lord graced him through her love. She was his daily smile and source of encouragement through every challenge in life. Together they mastered the art of love and devotion at its deepest level. They were blessed with two incredible sons, Todd and Shane, who brought to their lives immeasurable joy and pride. He was a wonderful compassionate father who, regardless of limitations, exemplified determination and how to live life fully.

Chuck was a zealous fan of the Cubs and Raiders; he was intrigued with muscle cars and was a dedicated follower of Dale Earnhardt. He was fortunate to attend some of his races where he once received a signed photograph of the two of them together, which he proudly displayed. He enjoyed socializing, acquiring a multitude of friends throughout the community who truly became his extended family. This network and support system has been there for his family whenever there was need for which they will be eternally grateful.

Chuck’s greatest qualities were his positive outlook on life, no matter how the moment appeared his focus was toward the light of hope. He was genuinely kind, jolly and lighthearted in spirit. He greeted you with a sincere smile and appreciated everyone. He was an inspiration to all those fortunate to have met him, he will be forever missed. May he freely walk in Glory.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Hultine of Princeton, IL; his son, Todd Hultine of Urbana, IL; son, Shane Hultine of Princeton, IL; one sister, Debra (Buster Zenor) Hultine of Spring Valley, IL; father-in-law, Lydell Hove of Princeton, IL; brother-in-law Eric Hove (Carrie) of Morton, IL; sister-in-law, Beth (Rick) Rockford of Princeton, IL; four nephews, Quintin (Samantha) Puebla, Ian Puebla, Nick Hove, Drew Hove and one niece, Olivia Hove.
