John "Wes" Wesley Lickhart

John “Wes” Wesley Lickhart, 66, of Princeton, IL passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at OSF Saint Anthony in Rockford, IL.

Wes was born on January 31, 1959 in Princeton, IL the son of William “Bill” Arthur and Annalee (Schuneman) Lickhart. He graduated from Wethersfield High School in Kewanee, IL class of 1977. Wes served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Ace Hardware Distribution center prior to retirement.

He is survived by his mother, Annalee Lickhart of Manlius; three siblings, William “Al” (Angie) Lickhart of Spirit Lake, IA, Michael “Thad” (Lynda) Lickhart of Maysville, MO and Sherry (Bob) Westfall, Atkinson, IL; many nieces and nephews and special friend, Wendy Bell.

Wes was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. Private Burial of cremated remains will be in Manlius Cemetery in Manlius, IL.

Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army in Wes’s honor.
