Robert "Bob" Daniel Youman

Robert “Bob” Daniel Youman, 81, of Princeton formerly of Bolingbrook, IL passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 in Walnut, IL.

Bob was born on November 14, 1944 in Chicago, IL the son of Robert and Mary (Malinowski) Youman. He graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1962. Bob worked as a Technician for Western Bell Telephone Company prior to his retirement in 1978. He was a longtime member of the Mendota Elk Lodge #1212. Bob enjoyed playing billiards, RVing and snow birding in Florida; where you would find him sipping on a Martini at 5 o’clock and smoking a cigar.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Karen Lindeman of Candler, N.C.; one sister, Sandy (Rich) McIntyre of Downers Grove; nephew, Dan Youman; niece Terri Youman; along with many other beloved nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ray Youman, sister, Joanne Foster and significate other, Bettylou Hullett.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
