Rose Marie Kamrath, 82, of Tiskilwa, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025 at OSF St. Clare in Princeton, Illinois.
Rose was born in Clinton, Iowa on June 12, 1942 to Dan and Lucile Hague. Rose was the first of four children followed by her sister, Linda Henry, brother Danny Hague, and sister Barbara Hague (deceased). On August 6, 1960, she married her lifelong husband of 65 years, Fred Kamrath in Clinton, Iowa. Rose was a kind, loving person who was very passionate about her family, the Green Bay Packers and the Iowa Hawkeyes. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge and rescuing animals. Rose and her husband, Fred were long time business owners. They ran Clinton Fence and Pool and Kamrath Kat ‘N Kanine Korner in Clinton, Iowa. Later, they expanded the Fence and Pool business in Lasalle/Peru and opened Seasons-A Christmas Store.
She is survived by her husband Fred, her daughter, Sharri Rocca (Gerry) of Canton, Georgia, two granddaughters, Allison Koziol (Matt), and her great grandson, Boone, all of Canton, Georgia, Tiffany Sherman (Brian) of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by her son, Brad’s children, Bradley Kamrath Jr. (Lainey) of Bozeman, Montana, Brigette Kamrath of Pierre, South Dakota and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Lucile Hague, sister-in-law Donna Hague, brother-in-law Joe Henry, grandson Bryce Kamrath and her son, Brad Kamrath Sr.
Per the family’s request, no memorial or funeral services are planned. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
