So sorry to hear of Susan’s passing. She was a cherished friend in school and church. I have many wonderful memories of our times together. Susan invited me on a vacation to Lake of the Ozarks where I first saw red soil – so different from Ringsted’s rich black fields. Another new experience was tasting watercress fresh from a stream.
