Darleen E. Starkey, 81, of Sheffield died at 10:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at Colonial HealthCare and Rehabilitation Centre in Princeton. Born Feb. 21, 1935, in Brimfield to Clarence and Ruth (Harding) Libby, she married Rev. Floyd Graves in 1953. He preceded her in death. She married Harry E. Starkey Aug. 31, 1996, in the Bache Chapel in Van Orin. He survives. She graduated from Kingsbury High School in Kingsbury, Ind. She retired from Greenfield in Princeton where she was the activity director. She was a member of the Bunker Hill Church of God in Buda. Also surviving are two sons, William Eugene (Dorene) Graves of Peru and Mark A. (Betty) Graves of Bradford; one daughter, Christine K. (Rick) Martin of Bradford; three stepsons, Steve (Angie) Starkey of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Bryan (Sherri) Starkey of New Carlisle, Ind., and Wesley (Theresa) Starkey of New Carlisle, Ind.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Pudlo of Quincy, Michael Pudlo of Elgin, Beth Ann (Daniel) Elmore of Dover, Matthew Graves of Peru and Zachary Graves of Peru; six stepgrandchildren, Jeffery Starkey of LaPort, Ind., Timothy Starkey of Warsaw, Ind., Nicholas Starkey of LaPort County, Ind., Jerrica Starkey of Carlisle, Ind., Dakota Starkey of New Carlisle, Ind., and Dustin Starkey of New Carlisle, Ind.; one great-granddaughter, Everly Grace Elmore of Dover; one stepgreat-grandson, Evan Wesley Starkey of LaPort County, Ind.; and one sister, Sharon (Don) Reynolds of Onieda. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roland Libby. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Bunker Hill Church of God in Buda with the Rev. John Erickson officiating. Burial will be in the Bunker Hill Cemetery, Buda. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the church. Memorials may be directed to Kids'' Klub in Malden.
