Thomas Dwayne Smith, born in Munising, Michigan on June 24, 1964, passed away at the age of 60 on October 2, 2024, in Princeton, Illinois. He was cherished for his roles as a brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his sons, Justin Smith (Brittney) of Benton, AR, and Jacob Smith (Lexi) of Princeton, IL. His legacy continues through his granddaughters, Jacy Smith, Anna Smith, Kaelyn Manrriquez, Luna Goreth, Jaycee Goreth, and Cobie Smith. He is also survived by his niece, Rebecca Smith; brothers, Jim Smith (Ramona), Chris Smith, and Brian Smith; and sisters, Lisa Smith (Troy) and Amy Kamradt (Erik), all of whom hold fond memories of Thomas.
Thomas's life was marked by the love and care he extended to his family and friends, a testament to the wonderful person he was. His absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Thomas's family would like to extend their gratitude to the community for their support during this difficult time and kindly request privacy as they mourn their loss.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home 30 West Mechanic St. Princeton, IL 61356. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
