Ruth Elaine Krieger, 76, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Liberty Village in Princeton, IL

Elaine was born in Princeton on December, 5, 1946 to parents, Rollin and Roberta (Larson) Elmore.    She married James Krieger in Tiskilwa, IL on October 21, 1967. 

Elaine is survived by her husband Jim, Princeton, her brother, Harold (Donna) Elmore, Greenboro, N.C., sister, Kathy (Tony) Lemos, California, her Brother-in-law, Roger Wheelock, Princeton, sister-in-law, Karen Carlson of Van Orin, IL,  2 sons-in-law, Chris (Heidi) May, Oswego, IL and Glen May, Princeton.  Elaine is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Elaine was proceeded in death by:  2 daughters, Lisa May and Rebecca May, her sister, Nancy Wheelock and her parents, Nobel and Roberta Hall and Rollin and Ruth Elmore.

Elaine graduated from Princeton High School in 1965 and was a member of the Princeton Bible Church.  Elaine was very well known for being a talented seamstress and she helped many people throughout the community with sewing projects and alterations for 40 years, before retiring in 2018. 

Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be directed to the family.
