"My sympathies to Arky, Pam, Brian, Chris, and their families. Don worked hard yet took time for others. Last summer my son, grandson, and I were at his pond fishing and got to talk to him then. An interesting note in our families’ history is that Don and his dad were customers of my father in the 1960s. Who could have known that my mother would later marry into the family!!"

"I have many fond memories of my Uncle Don. At one of my birthday parties, when I was a young boy we had decided on a farm theme. I was dressed up, my Mama was dressed in a traditional Lithuanian Costume and we had a wonderful Lithuanian meal, well except for me, I had pizza. I will never forget the handmade gifts that Uncle Don made for me, a Shed to put all of my farm toys in and a Grain bin made from a big coffee can. I spent many joyful hours playing with those toys. Uncle Don was a special man, during challenging times like these, we will always have our special memories that we can cherish. Thank you for the Memories Uncle Don"

"There was no one kinder & willing to help you out than Don. When you hear the saying, good ole boy, you think of Don. He was a hard worker & a jack of all trades. He loved Jesus & volunteered endless hours at the church. We will miss him, but we celebrate his homecoming & will see him again one dayðŸ¤--"

"He was such a wise man. I never new until I was in middle school that he was, in fact, not blood related to me. But that never mattered. I wish I could have spent more time with him. I have vivid memories of him that will always stay with me. He was the kind of man that loved to see the people he cared most about smile. There was never a hesitant of him to go fishing at their pond or to ride horses. The feeling of a Sunday morning on the farm, with horses all sadled up by the time you woke up, going for a ride around the block, and coming back to grandma having butter braids ready for snacking just before church is somthing that I will cherish forever."
